of Tilton
in Belknap County
and Northfield
in Merrimack County
in the U.S. state

. The CDP encompasses the town centers of both Tilton and Northfield, located on either side of the Winnepesaukee River. The population was 3,075 at the 2010 census.

living together, 13.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.8% were non-families. 30.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.98.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 24.6% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 30.4% from 25 to 44, 20.1% from 45 to 64, and 16.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 94.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.7 males.
