, Tim Mulrooney, left home, established a new career for himself as Captain Tim, Scourge of the Underworld. However, he found that his powers were fading in time, due to a shorter exposition to the wonder drug, so eventually he retired to live as an anonymous hi-fi dealer, until cancer hit him. When Captain America
returned from his hibernation, Tim waited for Professor Jordan to return, and, knowing he was now living on borrowed time, asks his former hero to give him another dose of the wonder drug. Rejected, he contemplates suicide.
However, in the continuity established by Marvel Comics
, Tim Mulrooney shared once the same powers of Professor Jordan, at least until the late forties. However, since his exposition to the wonder drug was less intense, and he rushed to open air before Jordan, he started losing his abilities when he began his solo career. In modern times, Mulrooney is a frail, old man, doomed by cancer and stripped of any special ability he once had.

Tim Mulrooney was a friend of Professor Jordan. Jordan tried to show him a miracle drug he had invented that would give the user super strength, but there was an accident that resulted in Jordan gaining super strength and the destruction of the drug.
