Todd Martin started as a solo acoustic act performer who eventually formed the band Todd Martin & The Ends.

A self-taught guitar player, Martin first picked up the guitar when he was 15, but eventually pushed it aside in favor of a hockey stick throughout high school. It wasn't until college at Villanova University that Martin began to realize his enthusiasm for playing and love for songwriting.
Martin returned to Philadelphia in late 2005 after a three-year residency in Boston. While in Boston, Martin had the good fortune of sharing the stage with impressive company including Matt Nathanson, Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers, and Angie Aparo. Martin also recorded his second 2005 release, TIME FOR GOOD, with several members of Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers
. The album was released in September and has already outsold the other discs in the Todd Martin Music collection.
