On 22 September 2008 Tom appeared as Terry Webster, the arresting officer in the case of the "Gay Slayer" Colin Ireland in the ITV docudrama Real Crime: Serial Killer on Camera.
It has been confirmed that Tom will be reprising his role as Spike in Hollyoaks briefly in late November 2008 with the hope of a more permanent role at some point in the future.
