Tommy Conroy is a former Gaelic football
player for Dublin
. He played a key role in Dublin's triumph over Kerry in the 1983 All Ireland Football Championship final. Top Cat won an all star in 1985 after a phenomenal season for both his club, St Vincents, and for Dublin. Most recently, he was a part of the backroom staff for St Vincent's All Ireland Club Championship-winning team in 2008. However, more importantly Conroy, alongside his brother 'Dermie', guided a well-drilled Minor C St Vincents team to a Minor G Football Championship success on February 7, 2010, in a game that will never be forgotten in the history of St. Vincents G.A.A club.
