He is currently chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, and also serves on the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee, and on the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Subcommittee for the Legacy Funding Division. He was a member of the Ways and Means Committee until February 22, 2011, of the current session.
