. Torns IF is an expanding club with football as its primary focus. The club serves children and youngsters in Stångby, Vallkärra, Håstad, Västra Hoby, Odarslöv and Annehem in Lund city. Several of the club's members also come from Helsingborg.
The club has owned and operated since 1983 Tornhallen, their own full-sized indoor hall and cafeteria. Together the club arrange each year both the Stångby Fair in the autumn with arts and crafts exhibitors and the Torn indoor tournament for girls and boys from aged 7 to seniors and veterans at weekends from October to February.
Since their foundation Torns IF has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system
. The club currently plays in Division 3 Södra Götaland which is the fifth tier of Swedish football. They play their home matches at the Tornvallen, Stångby in Lund.
