The Tour of Hainan is a UCI stage bicycle race held on the island Hainan
in China. The first race was held in 2006. The race consists of nine stages and it's part of the UCI Asia Tour. Since 2007 the Tour of Hainan is a UCI 2.1 race.
In 2009 the race was upgraded to 2.HC category.
