(1995), the album was chiefly produced by Jermaine Dupri
with Manuel Seal, Jr. and Daryl Simmons

chart, lower than their two previous albums. It eventually received platinum
certification by the RIAA for more than one million copies shipped to stores.
Traces of My Lipstick spawned two singles: The album's lead single, "The Arms of the One Who Loves You
", became one of Xscape's biggest commercial successes in years, reaching the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 at number seven and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks charts at number four. The second single "My Little Secret
" received the same success on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number 9 and reached number two on the "Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks" chart. The follow-up single, "Softest Place on Earth", was a radio airplay single that never made it on the Billboard Hot 100 but reached number twenty-eight on the "Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks" chart. The album also contains the "Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks" number five hit "Am I Dreamin' " which was featured and released by male R&B group Ol' Skool and their founder Keith Sweat earlier.
