and spent the formative years of his career (1999–2009) in St Louis, Missouri
before moving to Los Angeles
. He is best known for his creative mixtape concepts, a consistent and prolific release schedule (over 100 mixtapes to date), and affiliation with popular blog The Smoking Section.
A regular spinning at the A3C and SXSW music festivals, he is the official tour DJ for Grammy-winner Killer Mike
has performed onstage with other notable MCs such as Black Milk, Black Spade, Pill, Outasight, Skyzoo & Vandalyzm, and opened for Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, Rakim, Royce da 5’9”, Kidz in the Hall, Curren$y, J. Cole, Freeway, Brother Ali, dead prez, and B.o.B., among others.
