Trader Corporation publishes approximately 149 publications and 14 web sites covering four verticals: automotive, real estate, general merchandise and employment. autoTRADER is a Canadian print classified and online search engine for buying and selling vehicles. A property of TRADER Corporation, autoTRADER's print and online listings include Passenger Vehicles, Trucks and Vans, RVs, Motorcycles and ATVs, Boats, Snowmobiles, Watercrafts, Heavy Trucks and Trailers, Heavy Equipment, Farm Equipment, Parts and Accessories.

autoTRADER's print publications include autoTRADER, truckTRADER, bike boat & RV TRADER, heavytruckTRADER, heavyequipmentTRADER, classic and antique TRADER.

In 2010, autoTRADER.ca received about 2 million unique visitors on average per month, according to Comscore. autoTRADER also has an iPhone and Blackberry app available for its users.

Autos.ca

Autos.ca, formerly CanadianDriver.com, is a Canadian website launched in early 2011 that is dedicated to new cars. Owned and managed by TRADER Corporation, it provides automotive information and advice from journalists accredited by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) to help Canadians make smart purchasing decisions. The site also features new and used car listings powered by autoTRADER.ca, another TRADER Corporation property.

Auto.ca's content includes thorough vehicle reviews, previews, test drives and news updates on the Canadian automotive industry. The site also provides information on new car pricing and incentives from original equipment manufacturers and dealers across the country.

homeTRADER

homeTRADER is a Canadian real estate search engine that allows users to find rental properties as well as properties for sale, both resale and new homes and condos. homeTRADER also publishes several real estate publications including: New Homes, Renters News, Condo Guide, Home Renters Guide, Renovations, Home & Décor and many more. The web companion to the print portfolio can be found at homeTRADER.ca. This web site is loaded with content, tools and functionality to tour properties and neighbourhoods.

The official launch of the new homeTRADER.ca web site was in February 2009, The magazines and matching web sites had been serving the Canadian real estate market for over 15 years.

Since the early 1990s, New Homes and Renters News were two well known magazines for helping people locate housing across Canada. Soon after, new publications like Resale Homes, Condo Guide, Renovations and Home & Décor were created to provide readers a broader selection of home finding and decorating guides. These magazines were and still are today very accessible though street box and retail distribution. Regionally, the umbrella brand called HomeGuides represented magazines in ON, and HomeBase represented the magazines in the West and Atlantic provinces. Visitenet represented the magazines in Quebec. Today, HomeGuides and HomeBase have been transitioned into the new umbrella brand called homeTRADER. Visitnet continues to this day to represent the Quebec market magazines and web site.

homeTRADER is also a division of Trader Corporation, a Canadian print and online vertical media.

Buy&Sell

Buy & Sell, a national classified ad service specializing in the category of general merchandise, is a division of Trader Corporation. As with other classified sites, , there are numerous scams on this site with sellers offering to sell cars, snowmobiles and bicycles at low cost with a 10 day inspection period. The sites warns of these scams but is not sophisticated enough to carefully screen for them. Be careful. It publishes several magazines including Buy & Sell, The Bargain Finder, Super Shopper and Triad and a web site - http://www.buysell.com. Buy & Sell’s content includes new & used vehicles, recreational vehicles, real estate, furniture and electronics, among other things.

Employment News

Employment News is an employment publication distributed and published by Trader Corporation in Ontario - with 5 separate editions - 4 in the Greater Toronto Area and on in the Ottawa region. Trader Corporation. It publishes employment classifieds and advertisements in Canada. Employment News also publishes on a web site - http://www.employmentnews.com, listing both local and national employment and career training opportunities.
