He left the show temporarily in June 2006, returning in October of the same year replacing Liam Mower. His final performance was on September 1, 2007; it was sold out months before. During his time in the musical he appeared on The Paul O'Grady Show

In 2010 he was cast as a new character, Arlo, in the teen soap opera Hollyoaks
