. When Trevor was at the age of 10, he created a comic for his school newspaper. Trevor said in the Bonnie Hunt Show, "The principal put an end to my strip, because it was offensive and kept making fun of kids at school".

, and began to garner a following among the local college community. In 1998, Moore was offered a deal to produce new episodes of The Trevor Moore Show for WADA-TV, formerly a PAX TV affiliate. The show only lasted sixteen episodes before backlash from skits like "I Wonder Who Died Today?" (a parody newscast from the local senior citizens home) resulted in the show's immediate cancellation, due to offensive material. It was his belief that the show would only air at night, but halfway through the first season he found out that it was being re-run at 9 AM Saturday mornings. The show also featured the "walking-talking box." Trevor graduated from the Covenant School in Charlottesville in 1998.
Moore later went on to work at the cable TV start up ImaginAsianTV as a producer/writer for Jimbo Matison's Uncle Morty's Dub Shack, a comedy show that involved comedians performing sketches, and re-voicing and parodying old Asian movies of marginal quality.
In 2004, Moore's comedy troupe, Whitest Kids U' Know, started a regular engagement at the Lower East Side
bar, Pianos. The troupe was also invited to the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival
in 2006 and won the jury prize for Best Sketch Group.
In 2008, Moore was a guest voice on an episode of the HBO show The Life and Times of Tim.

Personal life
On October 9, 2010, Moore married long-time girlfriend Aimee Carlson. The wedding and reception took place at The Palm House in Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Aimee resides in LA as an editor whom Moore visits throughout the year flying back and forth from New York. They have a cat and a taxidermy deer head hanging in their LA apartment bathroom, which Moore mounted after accidentally running it over with his car.Filmography
