Trnovo Municipality Sarajevo

Trnovo is one of the nine municipalities of the Sarajevo Canton
. It is located a 30 kilometers southeast of the city of Sarajevo
. The seat of the municipality is in Trnovo, although the municipal council uses the "Maršal" Hotel on Mount Bjelašnica as the official meeting hall. As the pre-war municipality (also called Trnovo) was divided by the 1995 Dayton Accords, the actual town of Trnovo
is divided between Federation BiH and Serb Republic.
Ethnically, 95.4% are Bosniaks
and 4.6% are Serbs
with no reported Croats
and others.
In 2005, 96% of population of the municipality were ethnic Bosniaks.
