There are two churches: St George's in Trotton
and St Mary's in Chithurst. Both of these are Anglican although St George's is used by the British Orthodox Church
on a monthly basis. St. Mary's at Chithurst is a fine example of a Norman
church, built around 1080 AD. which has hardly been altered since.
Chithurst is the location of Cittaviveka Buddhist Monastery, a monastery in the Thai Forest Tradition
of Theravada Buddhism.
