, Colorado. Tuhare Lakes Trail is accessible from the north along Fall Creek Trail at Half Moon Campground on Tigiwon Road. Alternatively, Tuhare Lakes Trail can be reached from the south on Homestake Road and Holy Cross City Jeep Road to Hunky Dory Trail and over Fall Creek Pass to Lake Constantine, where Tuhare Lakes Trail meets Fall Creek Trail. Tuhare Lakes Trail makes a steep ascent from Lake Constantine beside a series of waterfalls that drop east from Lower Tuhare Lake at approximately 12,200 feet. Along the northwest shore of Lower Tuhare Lake, a lightly traveled path continues to Upper Tuhare Lake, four and a half miles from the Fall Creek Trailhead, at an elevation of 12,400 feet.
