Turnmills was a London
nightclub on the corner of Turnmill Street and Clerkenwell Road in the London Borough of Islington
. It closed on the morning of 24 March 2008.
The club was the first to obtain a 24 hour dance licence in the UK spearheading the move to all night clubbing in the 1990s. It was the home of Trade, the first after hours club in Britain and was owned by the late John Newman, the father of DJ Tall Paul.
