His junior season was cut short due to a foot injury. In 2009, Bellamy was named to the Atlantic 10 All-conference second team as well as the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic region first team. December 2009 - Named 1st Team All-Region, which placed him in the pool for All-American selection. Team Defensive player of the year.

in the USL Premier Development League
from 2008-2009. He played in 18 games for Ocean City, including helping the team reach the third round of the 2009 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup
