The Astrological Association, based in the UK, is one of Europe's leading astrological organisations with approximately 1600 members.
Its founding members, notably John Addey and Roy Firebrace, were members of the Astrological Lodge of the Thesosophical Society. John Addey would later become President of the AA.
The AA produces four publications - the Journal, published six times a year, Correlation, an academic biannual journal on astrological research; the Medical Astrology Newsletter, the only journal in the world devoted to Medical astrology
, and Culture and Cosmos, an academic journal on the history of astrology and cultural astronomy.
The AA also organises occasional seminars on all aspects of astrology, as well as an annual conference.
In 2002 membership of the AA was 'something over a thousand'.
Foundation
The Astrological Association of Great Britain (AA) was formed at 7.22 pm GMT on 21 June 1958 in London.Its founding members, notably John Addey and Roy Firebrace, were members of the Astrological Lodge of the Thesosophical Society. John Addey would later become President of the AA.
