With the release of the vinyl First Level EP in October 2002, Underground Records Brasil was born. So far it has released more than one hundred Brazilian artists in EPs and mixed compilations, featuring Grace Kelly Dum, Michel Palazzo, Murphy, Julio Torres, Marnel, Marcio Zanzi, Oil Filter, Diego Logic, Mr. Gil, Fabrício Peçanha, Laurent F, Rodrigo Campos, Ilan Riger, Rafael Araujo among others.

URBR was idealized and founded by DJ and producer Michel Palazzo, who along with musician Eduardo Ferreira and VJSpetto, saw in the national market the possibilitie to start a specialized label that could better assist the Brazilian electronic scene.
