Construction of Creamer was cancelled on 5 September 1944. She was stored incomplete in the floating drydock at Mare Island from 25 September 1944 to 26 April 1945, then docked in floating drydock from 9 November 1945 to 16 November 1945, cut in two in preparation for scrapping. She was scrapped at Mare Island.
