In 1921 the school offices reorganized the school as a college and renamed it Udai Pratap Intermediate College. In 1949 the school again reorganized become Udai Pratap College and began offering undergraduate degree courses in Arts and Commerce. The school began science classes in 1950, agriculture in 1963, and classes for a bachelor of education degree in October 1972.

IGNOU has opened a study center in the campus through which thousands of students get distance education in several disciplines.

History
The college was established in 1909 as Hewett Kshatriya High School by Rajarshi Udai Pratap Singh Ju Deo, the Raja of Bhinga estate in Baharaich District of U.P. province.In 1921 the school offices reorganized the school as a college and renamed it Udai Pratap Intermediate College. In 1949 the school again reorganized become Udai Pratap College and began offering undergraduate degree courses in Arts and Commerce. The school began science classes in 1950, agriculture in 1963, and classes for a bachelor of education degree in October 1972.
