Strangely, there were five(!) teams promoted to the League:
Boryspil
changed from Borysfen in the second half.
Zirka-NIBAS Kirovohrad
changed from Zirka in November 1993.
Medita Shakhtarsk
changed from Shakhtar in the second half.
Metalurh Kostiantynivka
changed from Shakhtar-2 in the second half and moved to nearby city of Kostiantynivka
.
Metalurh Kerch
changed from Voikovets in the second half.
Shakhtar Stakhanov changed from Vahonobudivnyk in the second half.
