album from the previous year. This album included one of The Commodores' last significant hits in "Goin' to the Bank," and it has been the group's last major charting album to date, even though they have gone on to release several albums since. "Goin' to the Bank" climbed to number two on Billboard's R&B singles chart. The follow-up single, "Take It From Me
" barely cracked the top 40 on the R&B chart, while an additional single, the ballad "United in Love" peaked at #22 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
