University City High School Promise Academy is a public secondary school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Built in West Philadelphia-University city in the late 1960s and early 1970s, school opened for students on December 6, 1971. As of the 2010–2011 school year, it became a Promise Academy, offering extra enrichments and reinvigorating the staff to provide a better education for students. Enrollment in 2010–2011 was 637 students. In the 2011–2012 school year, in celebration of the school's 40th anniversary, students will work with teachers to develop the school's history by analyzing sources and interviewing people from UCHS's past and present.
