Urrbrae Agricultural High School is a public high school

The school has been designated as a Special Interest School in Agriculture, the Environment
and as the only comprehensive special interest agricultural secondary school in South Australia, its courses are strongly focussed on Agriculture, Horticulture, Viticulture, Aquaculture, Environmental aspects of the Earth and more, in which it awards certificates. Urrbrae also has one of the strongest Technology background with extensive technology workshops and courses available to students such as Environmental Technology or Automotive Technology, as well as one of the strongest sciences background in the state. It also offers Adult Education programmes, and has a TAFE campus onsite.
Urrbrae Agricultural High School has an application process for Grade 7 (Seven) students wishing to attend Urrbrae in their secondary school years. Unlike other public schools, Urrbrae does not necessarily take in students based on where they live or by using a zonal system. Urrbrae does, however, have borders from country and distant areas attending the school, and many students travel long distances to school.
The campus includes a massive 100 acre farm which other school come to visit and year 10 Urrbrae students give tours, and has science facilities and a large technology centre. Urrbrae also has a Swimming Pool, Rock Climbing Wall, grass tennis courts, asphalt tennis courts and a massive wetland, which other school come and visit.
The Urrbrae Old Scholars Association was established in 1934.
The Year 10, 11 and 12 students are involved in wine making, and with parental permission, students are allowed to sample their own wine. Students are also able to make other produce through Agriculture Studies, like butter and yoghurt. This includes practical lessons during the week, where studetns are able to participate in hands on activities with all the different enterprises. Some activities include grooming and helping care for the animals, and making butter, olive oil, and dried fruit from the school orchard and vineyard. In Year 8, students undertake what is called the "Home Project", where they are to care for an animal or plant and record their findings. In Year 8, students also make Vegetable Gardens where they are able to take home or sell the produce they grow, such as Silver-beet, carrots, and cabbages.
There are many lunch time clubs that students are involved in, with one for nearly every enterprise on the farm. Some of these include: poultry, horses, plants and bees. Being in a club is not a requirement after year 8, but many students choose to take part.

History
The school was founded in 1913 through a bequest from Peter Waite, a South Australian pastoralist and public benefactor, as a school to teach agriculture to boys. In 1972 it enrolled its first two female students, and in 2002 it achieved its first year-level that was equally represented by both genders.The Urrbrae Old Scholars Association was established in 1934.

The UAHS farm is a 100 acre farm which has many enterprises, including:- Sheep
