near Barajas Airport. It will host around 12.500 apartment houses and a population of 40.000 inhabitants. The Valdebebas Woodland Park is being constructed there in a surface of 5 millions square meters. The neighborhood will host other uses as retail spaces, offices, hotels, and public facilities.

A station of the Cercanías

Valdebebas train station is scheduled by the Goverenment to be in service by the end of 2011. The tunnel will also host high speed train AVE starting in Terminal 4, with no stop in Valdebebas. There is also a commitment by Madrid City Hall to open urban bus lines for the new neighbourhood.
