The highly popular anime-game franchise Ragnarok also tapped Valerie to be the face of the character Princess Fei in the game episode Amatsu and Kunlun: A Tale of Two Cities. Princess Fei has a demure and feminine face but unmistakable inner strength, and Valerie Tan was perfect in capturing the essence of the princess. This advertisement ran in all posters and print ads of Ragnarok seen in major newspapers and internet cafes all over the country.
She has also done lead roles for Pond's Antibacterial Facial Wash (aired in the Philippines and Cambodia), Smart Broadband
, Skyflakes, and Wal-Mart
(aired in the United States of America). Her other ads include KFC, Chowking, LBC, and Robinson's Department Store.
