Encyclopedia
Valleyarm is a music industry company that specialises in digital distribution, publishing and online marketing of music and video content. The company’s head quarters is located in Melbourne, with offices in Berlin, Brisbane and New York and partners based in China, Japan, Fiji, South Africa, England and Jordan.

As being a digital distributor, Valleyarm works largely with independent musical artists and record labels to make content available online through various international digital music stores including iTunes, Nokia , Amazon MP3, Telstra Bigpond and Chinese bilingual digital music store Wawawa. For their digital distribution services, Valleyarm uses a flat-fee business model for its distribution, unique to the Asia-Pacific region. On September 16 of 2010, it was announced that Valleyarm had been elected full APRA and AMCOS membership.

As well as digital distribution, Valleyarm also represents some signed artists as a sub publisher to collect royalties and clear digital rights from publishing around the world. The company also has several artists under their Supported-Managed model, in which selected artists get support similar to what record labels provide. Current artists include Taxiride’s Jason Singh and Jupiters Menace.
