Also placing second in state in 2008 for "The Elephant Man", third in state in 2004 for "Assassins", third in state in 2009 for "The Devils", and third in state in 2010 for "The Caucasian Chalk Circle". Van's theater department has also won 3A State Championships for Poetry and Prose Interpretation.
