Vardan Petrosyan is an Armenian
actor, scriptwriter, and parodist.

). His childhood passed in his father’s yard, the Khanjian Street, with the small river of Getar. There were many Turkish houses there, so that area was called “Turki mayla”. His father was a scientist, although his family was poor. Petrosyan studied in Terlemezian Art College. When he was 22 years old his father died. In 1985-1986 Vardan Petrosyan and Vahram Sahakyan established their own theatre studio called "Young Hedgehogs". Vardan Petrosyan played in an Armenian comedy group, “Vozniner”. He moved to France in 1992, when he was 33 years old. He studied in private language schools in Paris
. He now lives there, but still performs regularly in Yerevan, among other locations.
