Vasundhra Chiyertra is an India

film, Vattaram
and later starred in films including Kaalaipani, Jeyamkondaan and Peraanmai. She took part in the Miss Chennai contest and was crowned Miss. Creativity, following which she took up modelling. She changed her name to Vasundhra Chiyertra while filming Thenmerku Paruvakaartru.
contest propelled Vasundhara into the limelight. She won the 'Miss Creativity' title and a spate of interviews in the regional and national press brought her to the notice of Saran (of Gemini and Vasool Raja MBBS
). Soon she was working in Vattaram
with Arya and Raghav. Although the film only had an average run, it firmly established Vasundhara in the Tamil Film Industry.
Soon other projects with renowned directors and actors followed. As Samvedhna in Rajesh Selva's Kaalai Pani and Poongodhi in Kannan's Jayamkondan, Vasundhara received critical acclaim. This was further cemented by her portrayal of the plucky Kalpana in Peraanmai. However, it was the role of Pechi in the national award winning film Thenmerku Paruvakaatru
that established her as a versatile actress in Kollywood.
Vasundhara is currently working on Samudra Kani's Poorali and has also plunged into Telugu Cinema with M. S Raju's (as yet untitled) film starring Sumanth Ashwin.
