Vicky Jardim graduated from the University of Queensland

 with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2001. During the last year of her degree, she completed a cadetship at Channel Seven Brisbane and then joined Channel Nine Brisbane as a Script Assistant following the completion of her studies.

Shepparton as a general reporter. After a 18 months, she was appointed as the Bureau Chief/Reporter where she managed a team of six journalists and cameramen.

She specialised in court reporting and took part in a national pilot program where she completed feature stories on issues affecting country communities. One of the highlights during her time at WIN News was covering the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.

 cartel case and the fallout from the Office of Police Integrity hearings.

She was also a business reporter on the ABC's national finance desk. She also was given the opportunity to expand her knowledge of international news with a stint as an Associate Producer and fill-in Presenter on the ABC's Asia Pacific News bulletin.

After more than seven years in different reporting roles, Vicky returned to Nine News in August 2008 where she took up a reporting role in the Melbourne newsroom. She also occasionally presents Nine News Melbourne news updates.
