. In 1997, he went to work as a post-doctoral researcher at the Universidade Estadual de Londrina
and in 1998 he was appointed Lecturer in Music at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth

At the NUIM, where he is now a Senior Lecturer, he created the Music Technology Laboratory and introduced postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in Computer Music and Music Technology. Victor is also associated with the new music ensemble ElectroAcoustic Revue (EAR), dedicated to electroacoustic music
