Away from the world of media, culture and entertainment, Victoria is just as active in an effort to “give back” to those less fortunate than her, particularly deprived children. She supports several humanitarian organizations, including Amnesty International and UNICEF. Victoria took her involvement one step further when she teamed up with Doctors Without Borders to produce a TV documentary about AIDS in her native Ukraine. Another case in point is her visit to the site of the Chernobyl Disaster, in her capacity of goodwill ambassador for a local organization. These days you’ll find Victoria working hard to raise awareness for the Millennium Development Goals.
