Vidsich unites activists who are convinced that people cannot be neutral with regard to the political and social situation in Ukraine. Vidsichs aim is in creating a strong national movement which can protect the interests of Ukrainians and Ukraine in general.

Actions and protest campaigns

Activists of Vidsich have participated in more than 100 protest actions over the whole of Ukraine. Vidsich organized the "Campaign Against Tabachnyk" against Dmytro Tabachnyk, the Minister of Education of Ukraine and a fiercely pro-Russian politician; they took part in the organization of the protest campaign "Work not talk!" to protect the Ukrainian language from the law "On languages in Ukraine"; the "Protests Against Tax Law" (November-December 2010); the campaign "Against the Degradation of Education" against the law "On Education in Ukraine"; the campaign "No Police State" , against the violence of Ukrainian police; a campaign against the law No. 2450 "On Peaceful Assembly", which is aimed to restrict the freedoms of protest actions; a series of actions to support independent television channels; and many others.
