While retaining most of the basic elements that made Under Reprisal, Vigilance sees the band taking their music to further extremes. The album shifted some 1,100 copies in its first week of sale in the USA.

Lead vocalist Jon Howard is the only member of the band to have been featured on this album as well as on their debut Under Reprisal
