Vincent Scuro

Vincent Scuro is an American author, columnist, screenwriter, musician, composer, and artist.
Scuro was born to an Italian-American family in Jersey City, New Jersey
. He grew up in Bergenfield, New Jersey
and graduated from Bergenfield High School
, where he played trumpet in the band and orchestra; Saint Peter's College (BA) and Fairleigh Dickinson University (MAT). He currently resides in Florida with his wife and two daughters.
He also played trumpet in the first McDonald's All-American High School Band (1967). His first book, Presenting the Marching Band, was published by in 1974. Scuro then wrote three science and nature books in the Dodd, Mead and Company
Wonders series. He also co-authored eight books in the same series with Sigmund A. Lavine. His first novel was published in 2001. Scuro also was a columnist for the Southwest Orlando Bulletin from 1992-2010 and has been a contributing writer to Satellite Orbit magazine and the Los Angeles Times. He is a member of the Authors Guild.
