and manager. He is most noted for his association to his hometown side Napoli
, where he played for over a decade as a player and several managerial spells throughout Serie B and Serie C teams such as Cosenza
and Pisa
, before entering into Napoli's managing staff in the role of youth team coach. During the late 1990s he also served three times as caretaker manager
, replacing Luigi Simoni

and Renzo Ulivieri
respectively. He was ultimately sacked by Napoli following the 1999-2000 promotion to Serie A. In 2008 he became director of football of Real Marcianise in Lega Pro.
