An audio lauch function was also held in Chennai. Sony Music released the album worldwide. The album was met with positive responses and was appreciated. The audio also received overwhelming pre-release response and was marked as #1 in Asia, in terms of advance bookings. The album was ranked among the best musicals of 2011.
