Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin (Born in February 4, 1964, Alekseevka, Khvalynsky District, Saratov Oblast

), he is a Russian politician, currently the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia
and the Chief of the Governmental Staff.
He was member of the State Duma
of the third (1999–2003), fourth (2003–2007) and the fifth sessions (2007–2011).
Between February 2, 2007 and October 21, 2010, He was the Deputy of the Chairman of the Russian State Duma in the fifth session. In addition he was the Secretary of the Presidium of the General Council of the ruling party United Russia

In October 21, 2010 he was appointed as the Deputy of the Prime Minister and the Chief of Staff of the Russian Federation.

In October 21, 2010 he was appointed as Deputy of the Prime Minister - as part of his rule as a Chief of Staff of the Russian Government after the dismissal of the former Chief of Staff, Sergey Sobyanin in connection with its approval to the Mayor of Moscow.

In 1986 he was graduated from the Faculty of organization and technology of the Saratov Institute of Mechanization of Agriculture, and today the Russian State Service Academy under the President of the Russian Federation.From 1986 - he become to Lecturer of the same academy.
