w00tstock, billed as "3 Hours of Geeks & Music," is a special event featuring music, comedy, readings, short films, and demonstrations. Shows in 2009 (v1.x) took place in two locations: the Swedish American Hall in San Francisco, California on October 19 and 20; and Largo in Los Angeles, California on October 21. Shows for 2010 (v2.x) took place at: The Moore Theater in Seattle, Washington on May 7; The Aladdin Theater in Portland, Oregon on May 8; Park West in Chicago, Illinois on June 6; The Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 7; 4th & B in San Diego, California on July 22 (scheduled to coincide with the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International); The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, California on September 16 and 17; Largo, The Coronet Theater in Los Angeles, California on October 27; and, Best Buy Theater in New York City, New York on October 29. A 2011 (v3.0) show has been scheduled for the Balboa Theatre in San Diego, California for July 21
