History
Originally licensed in 1982 with the call sign WRTT, the station operated with a commercial format until financial issues caused it to go dark (go off the air). The station was purchased by Family Radio in 1985 for $136,000 with the transaction finalized in January 1986 and returned to the air with studios in Rockville Center.
