History

The station went on the air as WCYO on 1988-03-24. on 1991-04-05, the station changed its call sign to the current WCYO.

On-Air

The current on-air line up includes local favorites Karl Shannon from 6am-10am and Jason Bailey (from the morning show Bandy & Bailey) from 10am-3pm. Steve Bentley joined The Coyote in August of 2011 for afternoon drive (3pm-7pm) from WNGC in Athens, Georgia. Syndicated Lia Knight is on from 7pm-12am. On Friday Nights, Randall Scott hosts "Classic Request Live". Charlie Hall's "Bluegrass Express" currently airs on Sunday nights from 6pm-10pm.
