, UK. It was founded in 2003 by Gordon and Petra Wetzel-Stewart. The name WEST is derived from the brewery being in the West Coast of Scotland , and opened on the 10th March 2006.
WEST is unique in that it is the only brewery in the UK that produces all of its beers according to the Reinheitsgebot
, the German Purity Law .
In addition to the bar & restaurant, the venue can be hired for meetings, events and weddings with the Hop Room offering space for up to 100 guests, or the whole venue if required.
As all beers are brewed on site, there are times when some may not be available.
In addition to the staple menu of beers, a number of "guest" beers appear like WEST Weizenbock and Hellerbock
