In order to convince station management to hire him, Dunn sold his own advertising. Also in 2003, WGOS moved its studio to Greensboro
. Starting in 2006, the show focused primarily on sports, with Jim Modlin as co-host.
On May 30, 2008, Dunn retired after 44 years in Greensboro area radio.
Ritchy Broadcasting owned the station prior to its sale to High Point-based religious broadcaster Iglesia Nueva Vida.

History
WHPE 1070 AM and 95.5 FM was originally licensed to the High Point Enterprise in 1948. The station was religious in the 1960s and then played Top 40. In 1974, the FM station was purchased by the Bible Broadcasting NetworkBible Broadcasting Network
