Damned By Debt Relief
WORLDwrite are most notable at the current time for their Damned By Debt Relief tour, which is currently touring schools, colleges and universities in the UK. Filmed in Ghana by a volunteer film crew, a 28 minute documentary critically examining the impact of debt relief is shown, with a speaker flown in from Ghana to answer questions. It will be running from 18 October to 2 December 2006. The tour has been arranged in the run up to the 50th anniversary of Ghana’s independence from colonial rule.Critics
Critics allege that WORLDwrite provides a political platform for the British libertarian LM group, lambasting environmentalism and sustainable development while eulogising genetically modified crops.
