's "Groovin' Oldies" format. WOWE stayed with the Rhythmic Oldies format for a time after the "Groovin' Oldies" format was discontinued, but has since evolved back to Urban AC. The station now features both Urban AC music and African-American-oriented talk shows, including the John Mason morning show, syndicated from WGPR
in Detroit.
Sunday programming consists of gospel music and smooth jazz
