. There are also over 60 specialty stores and an undercover carpark. Wagga Wagga Marketplace was originally constructed by Woolworths Limited
and was acquired by ISPT in July 1997. The centre was officially opened on the 17 March 1997 by Leader of the NSW Opposition, Peter Collins
, some five months after the main retail outlets opened in 1996.
In February 2006 the shopping centre went underwent a refurbishment which include repainting and new signage, these upgrades were complete by May of the same year.
In the same way as the city itself, Wagga Wagga Marketplace is often referred to simply as Wagga Marketplace.
