It is a part of composite Medical Education Programme being run by POF (Pakistan Ordnance Factories) Welfare Trust and POF (Pakistan Ordnance Factories) Board Wah Cantt.
The College is approved by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) for MBBS training and is recognised by World Health Organisation.

Campus

The new College campus covers almost 200 Kanals of land, adjacent to the teaching hospital, and is still going through its final construction measures, which by the end will have an estimated cost of Rs. 375.00 million. The New Campus constitutes the Following Facilities.

Publications

Wah Medical College has its annual college magazine, maintained by students. Current President for WMC Magazine is Prof. Dr. Sajida Bano, Vice President is Dr. Bilal and Editor in Chief for 2011 is Mujahid Gilani.

Sports Week

Sports week is held every year, in which the students participate in a not only number of indoor as well as outdoor games, but also debates and poetry competitions.

Annual Convocation

A convocation ceremony is held yearly to award degrees to the fresh graduates. Till now two convocation ceremonies have been held, the last convocation was held on April 4, 2010.
